Winkler Structures Attends WasteExpo 2016
WasteExpo 2016 was hosted at the Las Vegas Convention Centre, June 6-9. Put on by Waste360 in collaboration with the National Waste & Recycling Association, Waste Expo is North America’s largest waste, recycling and organics trade show and conference. Over 600 exhibitors take part in the trade show including first time exhibitor, Winkler Structures, located at booth #3321. Educational breakout sessions ran throughout the Expo and topics included organics and food recovery, technology, waste and recycling sorting, safety, finance and leasing, source performance standards for landfills.
The Food Recovery Forum was launched as part of WasteExpo for the first time. Winkler Structures is excited to join this expanding industry by providing a green solution for organizations looking to lower their carbon footprint or build their own recycling transfer facility or processing facility. Small facilities looking to cut costs can reduce the need for artificial lighting thanks to our fabric membrane which allows the majority of the light to pass through. A clear span building from Winkler Structures comes with ventilation options to help with odour prevention and management, another key topic at this year’s inaugural Forum.
Plans for Waste Expo 2017 are already underway. Next year’s event will be at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, in New Orleans, May 9-11.
