Opportunity: The customer wanted an all-season building for their cattle. The building needed to be closed up during the winter months, but open during the summer. They also required a covered passageway for moving cattle into a neighbouring enclosure.
Solution: Winkler Structures chose a QuickBuild Wall Mount Dome on a wooden pony wall for this project. When housing animals, Winkler Structures always recommends a wall mount to reduce wear and maintain structural integrity of the building. The building included an open ended to allow the customer’s cattle to free range graze with a 16’x 16’ Accutrack door at the other end. A custom t-connection was designed to bring the cows to the neighbouring enclosure under shelter. Roll-up curtains were added along both sides of the building to increase air-flow throughout.
